Thanks for your bug report. The crash looks like a memory corruption. Could you try to get a valgrind log for it (you can follow the instructions from https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Valgrind for that)?

I don't think I can reproduce it - I was installing updates with
Synaptic at the time. Mainly I wanted to see how the bug reporting
worked. Sorry if I'm wasting your time on this, I think it's a very
minor issue.
