Orca doesn't read the ubiquity promotional slides

Expected Results: Orca should read the promotional slides while the installation is on progress
Actual Results: Orca only keeps track of the percentage of the installation

Probably the ubiquity slides are images, which explains why orca doesn't read them, it also doesn't explain in what step of the installation it's working, for example when copying file, it shouts the percentage, and when starts repartitioning, or installing others packages the percentage reading is reset and gives no clue about why it happened or in what part of the installation it is.

The slides aren't images, so the slideshow shouldn't need to do much to support a screen reader (assuming they're happy with dynamic content). This comes down to our WebKit WebView widget, and I'm not sure where accessibility is on that.

Do you think it's particularly important to have this read by a screen reader? It's definitely nonessential, so the feeling I get (and one reason I haven't been concerned about it) is people would rather their (likely unconfigured) screen readers _not_ get tied up reading it at them. I don't know a whole lot about that use case, though, so I'm interested in any reasons otherwise :)

A couple of cycles ago, I put code into ubiquity to enable caret browsing mode in the slideshow when the screen reader was in use, but things don't work properly for some reason. I have yet to get around to investigating why.

Users would be comforted knowing that there is still progress, also the messages about copying files to target system and installing grub is essential to be spoken. Some install times vary depending on hardware and internet speed, it is hard to advise a user when the information should be exposed to Orca in the first place.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to look at all reported bugs in a timely manner. There have been many changes in Ubuntu since that time you reported the bug and your problem may have been fixed with some of the updates. It would help us a lot if you could test it on a currently supported Ubuntu version. If you test it and it is still an issue, kindly upload the updated logs by running only once:

and any other logs that are relevant for this particular issue.
