Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-nettool

gnome-nettool uses for ping command (when I ping ya.ru for example):

/bin/ping ping -b -c 5 -n ya.ru

So, it doesn't work, because second "ping" seen like server name. And as a result, no packages received because host "ping" is unknown.

I'm not sure that I gave the correct explanation of the problem. However, the ping from the gnome-nettool does not work.

Indeed, it doesn't work. AFAICT, this would most likely be a duplicate of bug 663014.
