Bug Description
I just got a dell xps 13 developer edition. unfortunately the wifi does not work well so I upgraded to ubuntu 13.04 but no luck.
Other people are having similar problems: http://
Read that the problem is fixed in the 3.11 kernel but it is not. I installed http://
still has high packet loss. However if I turn off security on my android hotspot (no WPA) I get no packet loss.

You are facing packet loss issues with the AR9462 Atheros Wi-Fi chipset on a Dell XPS 13 Developer Edition when connecting to an Android hotspot with WPA security enabled. Upgrading the kernel to versions 3.11 and 3.12 did not resolve the problem. Packet loss disappears when the hotspot's security is turned off. Troubleshooting steps include updating
Ubuntu, checking drivers, disabling Wi-Fi power management, and trying different Wi-Fi channels. If the issue persists, the user is advised to report it to the Ubuntu community and Linux kernel developers. However, connecting without WPA security is not recommended due to potential security risks. For further assistance you can visit: https:/ /softepo. com/
