Bug Description

gnome-mplayer 1.0.4 has a gtk3 backend (configure with --enable-gtk3) and it would be nice to have it enabled for 11.10 so that gnome-mplayer is consistent with the other gtk3 apps.

Fixed in Ubuntu Precise with 1.0.5-1 version.
