Bug Description

This is a consistent bug on my computer, but I don't have other computers to replicate this on.

Information about my mplayer packages:
vk@vk-laptop ~ $ dpkg --list | grep mplayer
ii gnome-mplayer 0.9.4-1
ii mplayer 2:1.0~rc2-0ubuntu19+medibuntu1
ii mplayer-skins 2-7

I am using this:
vk@vk-laptop ~ $ lsb_release -rd
Description: Linux Mint 7 Gloria - x64 Edition
Release: 7

To replicate:
Open a movie in gnome-mplayer. Go to fullscreen mode. Press 'Esc' to leave full screen mode. At this point gnome-mplayer crashes instead of continuing the video. This is *not* an issue with Mplayer or Totem - both of these players handle exiting fullscreen mode perfectly.

Perhaps it has something to do with the gnome-mplayer skins?

My hardware
1280x800 14" screen, intel core 2 duo processor, 4gb of ram

I was unable to find a video that gnome-mplayer would even offer the option to go into full screen. Could you please give me an example of a video that this can be done with?

In 0.9.4 the ESC key would exit the application if you were in fullscreen or not. In 0.9.6 and higher, the ESC key now exits fullscreen mode and pressing it again exits the application.

Again not a bug, just the way that the application worked at that point.
