Bug Description
Binary package hint: nautilus
I have a internal sata disk formatted with one single ext3 partition.
I click on the volume in Nautilus->Places and it mounts fine. However after mounting I try to incorrectly change the mount options or path - there is no way to correct it once the Properties->Volume window is closed.
With the wrong mount options, attempting to mount shows error as expected (although the error message isn't exactly helpful, but that's another bug) - but the Properties menu option is no longer accessible (at least I did not find it anywhere) and thus the volume can never be mounted again.
The Properties window should validate the options and force the user to correct the wrong ones or go back to the previous ones before closing / applying them. That way this situation will not arise.

what mount options are you changing ? all mount options that you specify should be stored in /etc/fstab, you can change your options from there. please see if that solves your problem.
