Bug Description
Binary package hint: gnome-menus
gnome-menus 2.30.0-0ubuntu2
If you have a long enough menu where some items do not fit in your screen hight, the Ubuntu menu makes them accessible via a small arrow at the ends of the list that you can hover your mouse on to scroll up/down. Due to some bug, whenever you take your mouse out of the arrow button to click anything, the menu just snaps back to the top, making the user unable to use his/her mouse to select any of the out of screen menu entries.
To reproduce this issue:
Just add enough items to a menu so it doesn't fit your screen's hight now try to select the bottom most item without using your keyboard.
