Bug Description

After the upgrade, UB no longer displays any menu categories.

I've recompiled the debian sid version and install the deb's. That similarly does not work.

Will try to revert the budgie-desktop Sundry menu category handling to see if that is the issue.

Can confirm that a reversion of the Sundry menu changes in budgie-desktop has no impact on this issue.

This is something very specific to the changes made gnome-menus - not the ubuntu specific patches, but the debian modifications/upgrade

Changed in gnome-menus (Ubuntu):
importance: Undecided → Critical
