gnome-volume-control lost 5.1 mixing

Binary package hint: gnome-media

The new gnome-volume-control in Ubuntu Karmic drop the possibility to mix stereo into more channels like 5.1.

Have to ressort to editing ~/.pulse/daemon.conf
with default-sample-channels = 6

This is a huge regression from earlier Ubuntu since users have to dig into text foreign language obscure configuration files.

Thank you for your bug report. The issue is an upstream one and it would be nice if somebody having it could send the bug the to the people writting the software (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/Upstream/GNOME)
