Binary package hint: gnome-media
The October 11th build of Intrepid gnome-sound-recoder is not working at all. The file information is completely spuratic, "Length" of the file jumps up in extremely quickly (1hour in 2 seconds, very inaccurate). Trying to record with any format type (.flac, .oga, .wav). You can easily see this problem.
Also when you stop it the probram is completely frozen for about 30 seconds, and then when you try to playback you have no real audio recorded.
