Can't Select USB Microphone as Input

Binary package hint: gnome-media

How to Reproduce:

- Plugin a USB Microphone (such as Logitech AK5370)
- Launch Sound Recorder
- USB Microphone is not shown as a selection option under "Record from Input" Listbox.

The Logitech Microphone shows correctly as device AK5370 in the Volume Control and works correctly with Skype, Audacity etc...

Expected Behavior:

The recording application should allow the option to select input sources other than the default soundcard in the system.

Thank you for your bug. There is a bug upstream about that, could you read http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=450498 and reply to the questions there?
