Sound Recorder crashes Unity and Compiz with: pa_stream_peek() failed: No data

Bug Description

This happens to me very often when recording, so I can reproduce the problem afte some time. The program stops grabbing and the whole graphical environment crashes making it difficult to relaunch it without restarting.

It is very annoying and makes Sound recorder virtually unusable and very dangerous!
