Bug Description
Binary package hint: gnome-keyring
Expected: connect via VNC to Ubuntu with password
Happened: password not accepted
How to reproduce this bug:
- install Ubuntu 10.04.1;
- reboot;
- install Russian localisation;
- reboot;
- go to Preferences - Remote Desktop;
- allow other users to view and control desktop;
- set password in Security section;
- when prompted to create the keyring - do not use password and agree to create unsafe storage;
- try to connect via VNC to this machine;
You will be prompted again and again for password but no luck.
How to fix this bug:
- open ~/.gnome2/
- rename file ~/.gnome2/
- reboot;
- try to connect via VNC with the same password and feel luck.
