Unfortunately the problems is still present in Ubuntu Xenial (16.04 Alpha) - gnome.keyring 3.18.3-0ubuntu2. This crash happens every time I startup Ubuntu, but only for a week, I wonder what happened.
Maybe the upgrade to 16.04.03 caused it?

Apart from the error message I have to re-enter the keyring password each time and the usual workaround to add a blank password does not work as it gets forgetten.
Does somebody have a workaround?

I really hope somebody can be assigned to this bug or takes care of this bug which is confirmed, with high importance and waiting for a fix for THREE years!
Thanks in advance!

Hi to all.
Have just recently changed from Ubuntu Xenial amd64 Unity 16.04.3 LTS to Ubuntu Gnome Xenial amd64 16.04.3 LTS and have started having this "System program problem detected" keyring error on start up (gnome-keyring-daemon crashed with SIGABRT in g_assertion_message() ). Have already noticed it as reported, but because I have used Xenial Unity amd64 LTS 16.04.3 since it`s release and many other flavours without having any issue with the keyring error, thought it would be worth mentioning, Have also used many different release versions of the NVIDIA drivers as well without any effect.
Am currently running with NVIDIA binary driver - version 375.66 from nvidia-375 (proprietary, tested) and will change back over to the X.Org X Server --Nouveau driver to see if issue persists on future boot ups.
Thanks to all.

I'm seeing this too upon upgrade to 16.04.3 LTS with Unity. This appears to have been reported many times and marked as duplicate of #1200950 by the Apport Launchpad bot.

I'm marking this one also as dupe of #1200950 for Triage because Apport bot must have missed it.
