sudoku crashed when I tried to close it. At the same time, I was running: stardict, firestarter, gaim, bmpx and using apt-get to upgrade my system.

Thanks for the bug report. This particular bug has already been reported, but feel free to report any other bugs you find. Duplicate bug #81303, it seems that it is fixed in upstream already.
