I have not tried to reproduce it but here are the steps that I performed and then the GNU Chess hang forever and did not move:

after several restarts of the application and 10 minutes , the gnu chess continued

Hi,
 I have attached one image file , which shows the moves which i performed (white), Now its computer's turn to make a move where It never makes a move(black), observed it for more than 15 min. It doesn't make any move. Hope it helps in reproducing the bug.

I guess the problem might be that the chess is taking too long time to make its move, probably because timing is set to infinite.
