Bug Description

The gnome-format menu uses the su-to-root script but does not use the "-X" option.

When launched from the menu, it tries to get a password from standard input and stays there waiting.

Therefore, the menu entry for gnome-format does not work.

This can be fixed by adding the "-X" option to "su-to-root".
