gnome-remote-desktop requires d-bus interfaces from Mutter. GNOME Flashback does not use Mutter.

GNOME Flashback won't have integrated remote desktop until it implements remote desktop itself.

You might be able to use vino or xrdp to share your desktop remotely. Sorry, I don't know for sure since I don't use GNOME Flashback and haven't tried using remote desktop there.

affects: gnome-remote-desktop (Ubuntu) → gnome-flashback (Ubuntu)

Correct, GNOME Flashback does not provide/implement required D-Bus interfaces.

I guess you can open new issue here - https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-flashback/-/issues, but don't expect that needed interfaces will be added anytime soon...
