Bug Description
Binary package hint: gnome-exe-
It would be nice to change the script in order to make it look for icons provided with a icon-packages before using the shipped ones. This was requested over at gnome-look for faenza.

I just added preliminary support for icon themes. For now it works with Faenza theme only, otherwise it defaults to the "classic" look. It's still work in progress, which needs to be tested for readability with as broad sample of exe files as possible. If You are willing to help, please follow these instructions:
1) Install the attached tarball:
sudo tar xjvf gnome-exe- thumbnailer- faenza. tar.bz2 -C / thumbnailer. schemas
sudo gconf-schemas --register gnome-exe-
2) Manually switch to one of the Faenza icon themes (if it's not set already), or add "Faenza" as third parameter to the specific thumbnailer command:
gconftool --set /desktop/ gnome/thumbnail ers/application @x-ms-dos- executable/ command --type string "/usr/bin/ gnome-exe- thumbnailer. sh %i %o Faenza" gnome/thumbnail ers/application @x-msdownload/ command --type string "/usr/bin/ gnome-exe- thumbnailer. sh %i %o Faenza"
gconftool --set /desktop/
3) Clear the thumbnail cache and restart Nautilus:
nautilus -q; rm -r ~/.thumbnails; sleep 1; nautilus
4) Test test test. Please report any issues here in the form of attached screenshot of problematic thumbnails with the hint where to legally obtain the source exe/dll files (if possible).
