totem-plugins-dvb-daemon doesn't show any DVB options in Totem

If you install totem-plugins-dvb-daemon, then set up an adapter and channels in the Gnome Digital TV Control Center, Totem doesn't offer any DVB viewing options and the plugin isn't offered in the totem plugins.

Totem --debug doesn't offer anything.

This is because in Gnome 3 Totem needs at least version 0.1.90 of the plugin! Would be nice if this can be updated before final release. There are already packages available: https://launchpad.net/~gnome-dvb-daemon/+archive/ppa
