Bug Description

Hi,

When I summon gnome-do, the first thing I see is a very blurry search icon. All/most other icons are nice.

I'm using the human-icon theme so at first I thought it was because of this "https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/human-icon-theme/+bug/149047" bug, but in gnome-do 0.6 it was not that bad (now I'm using 0.8), and even with other themes distributed in ubuntu (mist, gnome, tangerine, contrast, ...) the same blurry icon appears.

Please fix this, otherwise the app looks really slick...

This isn't our bug, use a decent icon theme with plenty of SVG icons. We recommend GNOME Colors.

This is likely a Ubuntu packaging issue, rather then an upstream issue...

Didn't see this reported to them yet over there.

I'm put this bug up with the "human-theme" package (I'm not sure I did it right, so if I've mucked it up, someone please correct).
Changing the icon set you're using from "Human" to something like "Tango" clears up the icon and it looks fine.

It would be nice to get this taken care of... it would make GNOME-do look prettier on the default Ubuntu install.

What's interesting to me is the fact, that this only occurs when using a composite manager. See the attached two files.

Thats because youre effectively using 2 different themes: one with compositing and one without. Apparently our non-composited theme doesnt scale the icon images (I think it should...) and thus you see the actual size of the icon and so it isnt fuzzy.

What is the name of the blurry search icon? So i can provide a high-res icon for that as I prefer not switch theme for one icon.

The icon is 'search', which I find here: scalable/actions/search.svg

Obviously if the icon theme has no scalable version, this path wont be found. For the Human theme I see these:

./16x16/actions/search.png
./22x22/actions/search.png
./24x24/actions/search.png
