Bug Description

On prior Ubuntu install as dual w/Win XP, its icon would show on desktop upon closing it w/media. On present FULL ubuntu install system does nothing when closing drive w/media. Data still showing on Disk Utility & BIOS but sys won't offer a view of contents or a launch of the brasero app. Perhaps not a bug. ?
