Bug Description
Binary package hint: gnome-disk-utility
I was trying to use palimpsest from the gnome-disk-utility package to create a JFS partitions on my external hard drive. However, palimpsest does not offer JFS for filesystem. It offers ext2-4, XFS, FAT, NTFS and some other uncommon filesystems like the one for BeOS!
I had to install gparted to format my drive in JFS!
Note: during Ubuntu installation, it is possible to choose JFS, which is my default filesystem for / and /home. It is thus even more surprising that palimpsest does not offer this possibility.
The expected behaviour:
I should be able to choose the same list of filesystem with palimpsest than the ones offered during Ubuntu installation (so including JFS) + a few others of course like NTFS, FAT, etc.
