Bug Description

Environment: Ubuntu 24.04 on both environment

Having an installation with encrypted disks I expect that, in case of system issue, I'm able to reach data (of course knowing decryption passphrase) or by using a live version or, less common, by physically plug out my disk and connect to an other Ubuntu 24.04 system.

It seems that Nautilus is able to see the decrypted disk, it can also ask for passphrase, but is not able to open it. Between various attempt I managed to reach my data with KDE Dolphin on Fedora 41.

I don't know if the issue is partition/encrpytion mechanism or a missing feature of Nautilus, I expect that if Ubuntu installer is able to encrypt a volume is able also to open in in any way without using external software.

IMHO this is a major/critical and should be addressed asap
