Bug Description
When I open Disk Utility I can see SMART status and modify drive settings for my internal hard drive but not for external hard drives connected by USB. It used to work the first weeks after I fresh Installed Ubuntu 15.04 but now "SMART Data & Self-Tests", "Drive Settings" and "Standby Now" are greyed out for USB hard drives. Also, Disk Utility shows "Model", "Size", "Partitioning" and "Serial Number" but no "Assessment" for USB hard drives. I've attached a screenshot showing the internal drive on the left side and a USB hard drive on the right where we can see the missing "Assessment" information and the greyed out "SMART Data & Self-Tests", "Drive Settings" and "Standby Now".
