Expected for disks to be erased.
After some time the following error is returned.
Error synchronizing after initial wipe: Timed out waiting for object (udisks-error-quark, 0)
Using default erase options.

Same here when trying to format a USB stick on my Samsung N310 with Ubuntu 12.10 32 bits.

Ditto here, experiencing the problem on M4 SSD, 512G. Is there any workaround or fix please?

This bug also exists in the latest 13.04.
