[soundnua] can't change the output to 5.1

Bug Description

I am not able to change the output to 5.1 with the default audio program in ubuntu.
With pavucontrol I am able to configure the soundcard so that I can actually use the right configuration.

I have attached a video (TERRATEC_AUREON _7.1_USB.ogv) that shows the problem.

The Precise Pangolin has reached end of life, so this bug will not be fixed for that release
