Bug Description

May be related to (eg) bug #938038.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Disable wireless by hardware switch.
2. If not open already, open the networking control centre capplet and click "Wireless".
3. Re-enable wireless by hardware switch, and wait for the panel to change from displaying a status of "Unavailable", to a status of "Disconnected".
4. Click "Wired".
5. Click "Wireless" again. At this point, gnome-control-center segfaults.

Some of these steps may be redundant. I have been more concerned to produce reliably reproducible steps than a minimal set.

I am running precise with b43 (bcm4312 hardware, as the attached data will show).

I should note that I do not have a wireless network configured in this location, so NetworkManager doesn't/can't try to connect to anything immediately.
