2012-03-26 16:15:37 Matthew Paul Thomas summary Fixing Bug #950136 has caused a confusing Displays interface Not obvious which settings in "Displays" panel are display-specific
2012-04-23 16:09:08 John Lea description Please see the attached screenshot. The top options are monitor specific (they depend on which monitor you have clicked on in the preview image at the top). The bottom two options (launcher placement and sticky edge) apply to all monitors. These were introduced when fixing Bug #950136. This distinction is not at all clear in the interface. I wonder if one way to fix this might be to put some of the options above the monitor preview image thing. ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 12.04 Package: gnome-control-center 1:3.3.92-0ubuntu3 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 3.2.0-20.32-generic 3.2.12 Uname: Linux 3.2.0-20-generic x86_64 ApportVersion: 1.95-0ubuntu1 Architecture: amd64 Date: Sat Mar 24 08:04:27 2012 InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 12.04 LTS "Precise Pangolin" - Alpha amd64 (20120112) ProcEnviron: LANGUAGE=en_GB:en LANG=en_GB.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: gnome-control-center UpgradeStatus: No upgrade log present (probably fresh install) Please see the attached screenshot.
