Bug Description
Ran an apt-get dist-upgrade from the command prompt after doing a fresh install of the 11.10 Beta, and just after installing the Virtualbox guest extensions after being prompted to do so. I left the VM running and came back to find the error. Since the update bailed out I have run an "apt-get -f install" and this has completed the update.
