Bug Description

The Screen properties should allow you to change gamma and perhaps other
settings (dependant on card)

How about using the display settings app that fedora uses? It both looks better
and has more (useful) options.

Maybe we should add this to http://wiki.ubuntu.com/UniverseCandidates and close the bug?

That doesn't solve the bug. It should be possible by default to change those settings, not by installing some program from universe.
