Bug Description
Binary package hint: gnome-control-
I've noticed on two Natty installations that the 'Visual Effects' tab in the Appearance capplet is not present when using Classic Desktop.
I suspect it was dropped for Unity since in Unity running without compiz is not an option. However for classic desktop it should still be possible for users to turn this on/off graphically. There's still bugs or performance issues, or might help extend battery life.

Thank you for your bug report but as described in the changelog that's not a bug, the selection should be done on the login screen not in a capplet limited to those options
