happened on trying to open "about me" running live USB ubuntu 11.04 clicking the "offline" icon top right on desktop of Acer netbook.

@old_toby: Thank you for confirming that you could open About Me without error. Could you be more specific about what you meant by "nothing is saved"? Please provide steps to reproduce the error. Also, were you running in live mode or did you test in an installed instance?

I meant that when I entered some data (e.g. my email address), closed the dialog and reopened it, all information was lost. I can't remember if that was on livecd or installed system. On the installed system, it's working now, I have to check first for live mode.
