gnome-about-me doesn't save any text entered prior to closing the application

Binary package hint: gnome-control-center

opening gnome-about-me via the indicator-me menu, I can set the profile image though it is not picked up (lp#525951) but worse still it doesn't save any text you may have entered prior to closing the application.
