Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-control-center

The cursor speed of the touchpad on my laptop (thinkpad sl300) is really slow. It takes about four sweeps across the touchpad to get to the other side of the screen. There is no way to change the touchpad sensitivity in the current mouse preferences application.

What version of Ubuntu are you using? If it's 9.04, try moving the sensitivity to "low".
