libadwaita-1-0 is the cause of the issue the previous version did not exhibit this behaviour

I did not inspect in details yet, but it might be that nautilus folders are following the icon theme anymore, is this happening also in desktop icons?

Yes also home folder icon on desktop does not change accent color.

The problem seems to affect all GTK apps, GTK3 and GTK4. And not just folders but all GTK highlighting.

Oh, I get it. We're not setting `org.gnome.desktop.interface gtk-theme` and `org.gnome.desktop.interface icon-theme` to Yaru-<color> anymore.

ubuntu-settings is unchanged in that respect since Plucky. Both use "Yaru".

This bug was fixed in the package libadwaita-1 - 1.8.0-1ubuntu2
