Bug Description

When I try to add a Google account using Gnome "Online Accounts" tab from the settings, I encounter an error.

To investigate further, I ran this command from my terminal:
$ gnome-control-center -v

I then tried to add a new Google account, the "Sign in to Google with your browser" popup appears normally.

When I click on the "Sign In..." button, the following errors are displayed in the terminal:

[16908] Sandbox: CanCreateUserNamespace() unshare(CLONE_NEWPID): EPERM
[16905] Wayland Proxy [0x7ab3c4692df0] Error: StartProxyServer(): bind() error : Permission denied

Even if I log in from my browser (Firefox 138.0.1 installed using mozillateam PPA), and allow some access permissions for Gnome app (Google Drive in my case), nothing appears on Gnome Online Accounts tab (the popup stays grayed out and never receive anything apparently).

If I chose the option "Copy Link" instead, and open the link in Firefox, I don't have any error displayed in the terminal, but it doesn't work either.

This doesn't seem to be the Firefox snap.
How are you installing Firefox?

Indeed, I'm using a version installed using mozillateam's PPA
