When I restrt or shut down my ubuntu budgie just hangs there and freezes

Bug Description
When I do the restart or the shutdown ubuntu freezes. I used to restart to get into my other distr (have dualinstallation in my laptop) via grub selection. Now, it never gets there (to grub) and I am forced to shut down using the power button.
