Bug Description

The Ubuntu Error Tracker has been receiving reports about a problem regarding gnome-control-center. This problem was most recently seen with package version 1:3.38.1-1ubuntu1, the problem page at https://errors.ubuntu.com/problem/22eb073fed09f6a2f9f5ff9bd4b2677ea9b8336f contains more details, including versions of packages affected, stacktrace or traceback, and individual crash reports.

It segfault with the same stracktrace when opening the display panel on a xubuntu session, probably another case of issue when used outside of GNOME

Ironically for me it happens inside GNOME when I am developing GNOME.

Looks like this was fixed by https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-control-center/-/merge_requests/899 a couple of years ago.
