Bug Description

When I try to map my wacom tablet to a single monitor, it doesn't do anything. The tablet appears fine with the proper name in the tablet setting app, and it appears if I run xsetwacom --list

Tried:

Wacom Graphire3 4x5 (CTE-430)
Wacom Intuos Pro S (PTH-460)

Also same problem on Ubuntu 20.04 (and Nvidia RTX 2060) with Wacom Intuos Pro M (PTH-660)

Upon further investigation, this appears to be a problem with the display output names names no longer being recognized when using some nvidia drivers. e.g VGA-1 HMDI-0 etc as provided by xrandr

For example:
$ xsetwacom --set "Wacom Intuos Pro S Pen stylus" MapToOutput DP-3
Unable to find an output 'DP-3'.

But I can set it using the coords or HEAD
$ xsetwacom --set "Wacom Intuos Pro S Pen stylus" MapToOutput 1920x1080+0+0

or

$ xsetwacom --set "Wacom Intuos Pro S Pen stylus" MapToOutput HEAD-0

Thank you for your bug report, could you send it upstream as well on https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-settings-daemon/-/issues ?

This doesn't seem limited only to Nvidia drivers. I'm using a Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Carbon, 6th Gen with Ubuntu 20.10. Sometimes the map to monitor setting works, other times it is completely ignored. When it is ignored, the relative vs absolute setting in the Settings | Wacom | Tablet gnome settings page is also ignored. My Thinkpad doesn't have Nvidia drivers.

The Wacom tablet in use is the 6100 model.

Additional info, when mapping buttons, if I set a Wacom tablet button to "Switch Monitor", when I tap that button all three of my monitors display the same Wacom Intuos BT M popup. Presumably this is because all three are mapped, not just one. If it were properly mapping a single monitor, that popup would appear only on one of the monitors.
