Bug Description

Side scrollbar setting feature works from time to time . If you set it on and close the window it saves the setting and side scrollbar works . If you set it on and move to another menu item i.e. "Sound" or "search" it doesn't save the setting and switch it back to off.

S.T.R.
1. Open "Settings";
2. Move to "Mouse and scroll pad" item;
3. Set Side scrollbar to on;
4. Move to "Sound" item;
5. Move to "Mouse and scroll pad" item.

E.R. Side scrollbar is on.
A.R. Side scrollbar is off.

Severity: low

Environment:
Ubuntu 20.04 LTS 64 bit Russian language
Gnome 3.36.2
