[Gutsy] Gnome Appearance windows freezes and fails to finish loading

Gnome Appearance dialog fails to load fully, freezes and CPU usage up over 88%

Steps to reproduce:
1 click system menu
2 click Appearance

You can get same result opening it from control center.

system info
Host 'GutsyGibbon', running Linux 2.6.22-7-generic -

It stopped and wouldnt go any further than last line== /usr/share/themes/Lush/gtk-2.0/gtkrc:7: Unable to find include file: "iconrc" i let it sit for about 3-5 minutes (enough for a smoke) and decided to stop it, let me know if thats enough.

I have the same problem with Gutsy and Compiz enabled (intel), I attach a screenshot.
This problem happens with many dialog windows not only with gnome-appearance-properties and if I try to surf the Applications menu i don't get the selection colored.
