Bug Description
Do not know if I am filing it under the correct package.
Since upgrading to Ubuntu 13.04 I have problem with sound. The system does not anymore recognizes that there is an HDMI device plugged in and thus I can not put the sound over the HDMI cable.
More than that: from time to time the system does not recognize the internal sound card and says there is only a "Dummy" device and thus I get no sound at all. It is kind of random and normally when I restart again then the internal sound card and sound devices are recognized.
I have a Dell Inspiron 17R laptop with 4 Gb RAM and I am running the 64 bit version of Ubuntu. I have upgraded from 12.10 where the sound worked perfectly.
I am willing to put time into helping testing or giving more data, just let me know.
Thanks.
Gabor
