Bug Description
It appears to be impossible to add a printer by FQDN/hostname/IP using the Gnome printer settings panel's "Add Printer" option.
Whether I type in anything in the "address" box or not, the same long list of printer models appears in the list above, and one of those (that does not correspond to the hostname specified) is added if I press "add".
It is absolutely essential that it be possible to add a printer by FQDN; we have enough devices on the LAN that it is impossible to tell which autodiscovered printer is which.
Workaround is to use the CUPS web interface at http://
