Keyboard layout confusion

I spent all evening till I figured out that layout group is also layout :) (like this one: "Lithuania") These selectable layout groups are very misleading. I am talking about window "Choose a layout" that opens when user wants to add layout.

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better.
What do you find confusing about it? In your opinion, how could it be clearer? Thanks.

Layout group item should be just for expanding layout list (like file folder). Layouts in that group should be selectable. In general should be like file selection dialog box. If it is file selection dialog box user cannot select directory.

My friend also called me on the phone telling that there is no Lithuanian keyboard layout. I had to explain him that group of layouts is also layout :)

Thank you for your bug. I think that's fixed in gutsy which use combo boxes, what version of Ubuntu are you using?

Thanks taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. However, I am closing it because the bug has been fixed in the latest development version of Ubuntu - the Gutsy Gibbon.
