Bug Description

Ubuntu 12.10 beta 2. Attempting to open System Settings causes app to crash. Have not done any trouble-shooting yet except to try again, with same results.

Okay, uninstalled the fglrx-updated drivers for ATI cards and that seems to have fixed the error.
