Items missing from gnome-control-center in Lubuntu 12.10

I am trying to install Empathy on Lubuntu 12.10, but in order to setup an account, I need to enter information to an item in my System Settings that isn't there... gnome-control-center only has 3 configurable items listed: Printers, Language Support, and Software Sources. In previous versions, I remember a lot more items being listed in the System Settings window. Is this a bug? Why doesn't Lubuntu 12.10 have more items?

Although, I am not sure if this bug should be filed under gnome-control-center, or under some lubuntu package.

gnome-control-center is mostly made to work under GNOME, LXDE should be added to the OnlyShowIn line from desktop entries to have them listed in lubuntu

The desktop file `gnome-control-center:gnome-printers-panel.desktop` doesn't have LXDE listed in the OnlyShowIn, but is among the 2 other items displayed in the System Settings window...

Please note that gnome-control-center is not shipped with the Lubuntu distro.

Doug, have you checked out "System Tools" and "Preferences" in Lubuntu? If I understand it correctly, from there you may access a bunch of various other tools for viewing and changing your settings.

What about if somebody wants to use Empathy with Xubuntu?

Let's kill the OnlyShowIn: line; it doesn't make sense for Empathy to not use OnlyShowIn but for the preferences window to use it. Reopening the bug.
