Bug Description
Debian based distributions deliver autotools-dev which contains the latest config.sub and config.guess scripts from the GNU project.
gnome-common should be patched to support this package and - if necessary - use the scripts from there.

This patch does nothing if the program doesn't use the scripts or if autotools-dev is not installed, but with both, it uses the newer script versions.
