load cpu ~100% then deleted directory

I have a folder. I do not have rights to delete this folder. I'm trying to delete the folder and get the message: access denied.

Is this still reproducible with the latest release on Maverick?

Yes it is reproducible. Two dialog windows pop-up. "Deleting..." with 0% and "Access denied" with Abort/Retry/Skip buttons. One CPU core completely utilised.

Yes, it is still reproducible with gnome-commander 1.4.3-1build1 on latest Ubuntu 15.04.
